These terms govern your use of Brezy, a small indie macOS ambient app, and the license you buy for it. By downloading, installing, or buying Brezy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your license
A purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to use Brezy. The license is for you, the buyer — it's intended for your own use on your own Macs.
- Your license key is tied to the email you bought with and is derived from it. The key plus that email unlock the app.
- Because the key is bound to your email, it is not transferable — please don't share, resell, or publish your key.
- “Lifetime” means a one-time payment for the app as it exists now and the updates we choose to ship to it; it doesn't promise the app will be developed forever.
Permitted use
You may install and run Brezy for your personal use. You may not reverse-engineer the license scheme to generate keys, redistribute the app as your own, or use it in any way that's unlawful. We may consider a license void if it was obtained through a fraudulent or reversed payment.
Trial & free mode
Brezy includes a 20-minute full trial so you can evaluate every scene and effect before buying. After the trial, the app keeps working for free with the “Rainy night” scene; a license unlocks everything else. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure Brezy works for you.
Installation & first launch
Brezy is not yet notarized by Apple. On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may warn that it's from an unidentified developer. To open it, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose “Open”, then confirm. You only need to do this once. Requirements: macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
No warranty
Brezy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. It's a small ambient app — we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Mac, macOS version, or display configuration.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brezy and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for your license.
Refunds
Purchases are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
